We want to make Europe easier for people with good ideas. Scaling in Europe shouldn’t mean navigating 27 different systems. That’s why we’re launching the 28th Regime and at its core, EU Inc. A gamechanger for European business, built on smarter regulation. EU Inc. introduces a modern, digital-by-default company framework that founders can choose. It supports the full lifecycle of a business, from setting up to scaling up and even winding down, while enabling companies to operate seamlessly across borders, fully aligned with European standards and rules on tax, labour, and consumer protection. But we know the real barriers go beyond company law. That’s why the 28th Regime takes a broader approach: ◽️Simplifying taxation ◽️Improving access to talent with more flexible, digital-first labour mobility ◽️Cutting red tape through tools like the Business Wallet ◽️Strengthening legal certainty through specialised courts We’re building on a clear direction set by the Competitiveness Compass, the Start-up and Scale-up Strategy, and the Single Market Strategy. And this is just the beginning. Because our goal is simple: We want businesses to grow in Europe. To stay in Europe. And to thrive from Europe. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gBmyfNKD

  • In the EU, women represent: ♀️ 1 in 3 STEM graduates ♀️ 1 in 5 ICT graduates ♀️ 1 in 5 ICT specialists ♀️ 1 in 4 leaders in tech companies Women make up 51% of EU's population, however they are still very underrepresented in the tech sector.   The challenges and barriers start at an early age at school and go all the way up to executive roles. Gender stereotypes and societal norms, experiences of gender bias and discrimination, and work-life balance are some of the most common.   Closing the gender gap could add up to €16 billion to EU GDP each year and contribute to reach the Digital Decade's goal of 20 million ICT specialist by 2030.
