about // pebble!

i’m a 26 years old disabled nonbinary creature who makes all sorts of things. i use it / she pronouns interchangeably, use whichever one you prefer! i spend most of my free time working on projects; i mainly like to draw, do graphics design, make 3D models and code websites, but i also like trying out and learning different things.

fursona

my sona is a strange critter with features from many different creatures. it has a capybara-like snout, goat-like horns, horse-like hooves, possum-like tail and mouse-like ears. over time its shape evolved in a way that makes it really enjoyable for me to draw, while also looking very visually pleasing to me.

it's mute because of its lack of a mouth, having to mostly rely on body language to communicate. its clumsy hooves lack the dexterity to do a lot of things, forcing her to rely on others, but she tries her best on her own. her limbs are mechanical and detachable, they can be taken off for comfort when not needed.

she's very much a comfort character, her unique features reflecting some of the things i struggle with in life.

why pebble?

i borrowed the name from Five Pebbles, a character in Rain World. it started as me using the name for different purposes, eventually shortening it to just "pebble" and using it as a name for my sona. i liked it so much that i started using it for myself too! i went by "nexii" before. i also like it when people shorten my name in different ways, like "peb" or "pel" (the latter being a form of the name that's visually cut off halfway through the letter b, if you're curious!).

i got this computer for free, there's no way i could afford one of these on my own. if i had a choice, i'd probably be using a framework laptop instead with some kinda linux on it
