PastePal is free to download and try. To unlock all features including paste, you need to purchase the premium upgrade.
PastePal purchase is universal across Mac, iPhone and iPad. You can restore purchases on any devices with same iCloud account. It also supports family sharing.
The standalone version is for those who want to purchase directly. Payment is managed by Lemon Squeezy. Since it's outside the App Store, you can't restore purchases on iPhone apps.
PastePal shows a menu bar item in your status bar when it starts. Check if you've enabled Launch at Login for PastePal and that your status menu isn't crowded with other icons.
You can configure how often PastePal purges old history data. By default, named clips, clips in collections, or locked clips are not purged.
PastePal honors iOS 14 privacy by not listening to clipboard changes in the background. You can enable background monitoring via PiP in Settings to keep the app alive and save copied content.
PastePal lets you pin the side window to any edge of the screen — top, left, bottom, or right. You can also freely move it around.
That's the Hot Edge feature. PastePal detects when you move your mouse to the edge of the screen and opens the side window automatically.
