I think the go version is also specified in the proxy-init build image in the proxy's Dockerfile.

approving this because it looks good to me, and @adleong's feedback above has been addressed.
other uses of the golang container are golang:1.25-alpine (major and minor version) as opposed to golang:1.25.7-alpine (major, minor, and patch version). if i understand correctly, these do not need to be updated here.
