The team
We come from backgrounds in cryptography, security, and Internet infrastructure. We knew there was a better way to deploy AI, one that didn't expose everything to third parties, and our experience gave us a good perspective on what was possible. So we founded Tinfoil.
We build in public. Our code, our security assumptions, and our tradeoffs are all out in the open. We are looking for people who are technical and independent, but above all, we are looking for people who care about the mission as much as we do. If you think that's you, please get in touch!

ML Infrastructure Engineer
Build the infrastructure that makes private AI inference fast and reliable at scale.
- Design and optimize model serving pipelines inside trusted execution environments
- Improve inference latency, throughput, and GPU utilization
- Integrate new model architectures and serving frameworks
- Build tooling for benchmarking and monitoring ML workloads
Cryptography Engineer
Design and implement the cryptographic foundations for secure enclaves.
- Implement and harden remote attestation and secure channel protocols
- Develop cryptographic verification for confidential computing workloads
- Audit and strengthen trust boundaries across the stack
- Research and prototype new privacy-preserving techniques
Software Engineer
Build the platform, APIs, and developer experience that put private AI into the hands of users and developers.
