This Site

This site is created using Zim, which I am also using for my private notebook. Zim is pretty good for making me actually write and publish without it feeling annoying and like a chore. I leave it open permanently, and I can just flick to a page and type with little distraction.

I somewhat dislike the side navigation, it is pushing me to categorize and organise in annoying ways. For a wiki I think one big flat namespace is better, links and backlinks between pages are the organisation. Do expect me to re-organise a bunch untill I settle on what I like.

Pages that are disconnected from everything else, as they are their own topic, would become unlinked, and I'd have to manually list them.

Blog-style things feel kind of immutable, I'm am keeping those with a date so they feel seperate from other pages. Older files I wrote have “Created at” at the top of the page.
