“I don’t think I’ve ever had a site score this well.”
“I’ve never had so much fun redesigning my website, thanks to Ollie Pro for WordPress. Even more impressive is how it performs right out of the box. I don’t think I’ve ever had a site score this well unless it was a brand new site with zero content.”

Ollie / Ollie Pro
What is a WordPress block theme?
A WordPress block theme is a modern, highly customizable WordPress theme built entirely with the block editor, enabling full site editing capabilities. It allows you to easily customize every aspect of your site, from headers to footers, using a user-friendly, drag-and-drop interface.
With centralized design settings via global styles, and access to a pattern library, block themes offer unparalleled speed and flexibility, ensuring your site looks great on any device without needing any coding knowledge. This makes creating and maintaining a professional, responsive website faster and easier than ever.
Best of all, you don’t need a WordPress page builder anymore. With a WordPress theme like Ollie, you can do all of this amazing site building right inside WordPress.
What are WordPress patterns?
WordPress patterns are pre-designed components that can be easily inserted into your site, providing a quick and efficient way to create complex designs without needing to build from scratch. Patterns can be as small as a testimonial box, or as big as a full page layout.
Patterns are super valuable because they save you tons of time, ensure design consistency, and make it easy for users of all skill levels to create professional-looking pages.
By leveraging patterns, you can enhance your site’s appearance and functionality with minimal effort, allowing you to focus more on content and less on design.
What is the difference between Ollie and Ollie Pro?
Ollie is a free WordPress block theme available on WordPress.org. Anyone can install Ollie on their WordPress site for free and start building with blocks, patterns, and the site editor. Learn more about block themes and the site editor, visit our video library where we have videos for each feature.
Think of Ollie like a design system — it provides fluid typography and spacing presets, color palettes, custom styles for blocks, and a collection of patterns and templates that all work harmoniously with the WordPress block and site editor.
Ollie Pro is a paid plugin that adds even more WordPress patterns to your site via a cloud pattern library with an intuitive interface. That means you can build more websites even faster by mixing and matching hundreds of patterns and layouts.
Because the Ollie pattern library is in the cloud, it doesn’t weigh down your website and new patterns are available instantly without having to update the plugin.
Do I need coding skills to use the site editor or Ollie Pro
Nope! The beauty of block themes and the site editor is that you can build your entire website with blocks, patterns, templates and styles, all within the WordPress editor. If you want to customize your site with code, you can, but it’s not required.
How often are new design patterns added to the library?
Ollie Pro currently ships with 4 pattern collections — sets of patterns that are all designed with a similar aesthetic. Each pattern collection will continue to receive new patterns each month, giving you hundreds more patterns you can mix and match to make unlimited layouts. Entirely new pattern collections will also be launched throughout your subscription.

How do you do an ollie?
An ollie is a fundamental skateboard trick. Here’s a step-by-step guide to performing an ollie:
Start by placing your back foot on the tail and your front foot around the middle of the board. Get low by bending your knees; this helps you prepare for the jump.
Now, press down hard on the tail with your back foot to make that popping sound and lift the front wheels off the ground. At the same time, slide your front foot up towards the nose of the board to level it out. As you do this, jump off your back foot, which will lift both you and the board into the air.
Try to keep the board level while you’re airborne. When you come back down, bend your knees slightly to absorb the impact and aim to land with your feet over the bolts for better balance and to avoid breaking your board. Keep practicing, and you’ll nail it in no time! Later, skater!
