American Resources Corporation and its affiliate ReElement Technologies applaud the new initiatives announced by President Donald J. Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on March 19 at the White House to strengthen supply chain resilience and energy security, notably in the area of critical minerals. This alliance to expand trusted supply chains is of paramount importance as we collaborate on many fronts. This includes joint research and development to meet future demand, increased production and diversity of critical minerals, supporting national defense applications and economic growth. U.S.-Japanese cooperation on commercially-viable development of deep-sea rare-earth muds near Japan’s Minamitorishima Island has parallels to ReElement’s own partnerships in the Pacific. Last July, ReElement and Impossible Metals, an innovative sustainable deep-sea nodule harvesting company, announced collaboration on the first U.S. deep-sea nodule refinement program. Coupled with a related agreement with the American Samoa Economic Development Council, our goal is to create a sustainable, integrated supply chain for rare earth and critical minerals that includes minerals from deep-sea nodules. The ultimate commercial value of ultra-high purity, refined critical minerals and rare earths – whether from land or seabed sources or recycled end-of-life technologies - is huge and extends to a range of priority applications. ReElement looks forward to continued collaboration with our Japanese and other Pacific partners to strengthen and expand supply chain resilience to meet future challenges. Exciting progress from ReElement Technologies as we advance domestic capabilities in critical minerals like germanium and gallium. With samples already going out and scalability on the horizon, this is a strong step toward strengthening U.S. supply chains for high-purity materials. If you’re working with Ga, Ge, or related feedstocks, now is a great time to connect with our team at ReElement Technologies.
Germanium and Gallium are a very interesting market opportunity for us at ReElement Technologies and for investment by American Resources Corporation (if needed to scale production to feed into ReElement). We have started sending #germanium samples out to customers, #gallium samples shortly. If you are metal producers of #gallium reach out. If you are looking for high purity Gallium reach out. If you have Ge and Ga concentrates or feedstocks or recycled material then reach out to the ReElement Technologies team. We have spent 6 months developing this process and are in good shape for multiple feedstocks at the moment to move in 2026 for large volumes. Thank you to Waste Dive and Megan Quinn for highlighting the growing urgency around critical mineral recovery and recycling. As the demand for rare earths and other essential minerals accelerates, the industry is increasingly focused on unlocking the value in “hibernating devices” such as used electronics that contain significant quantities of critical materials or rare earths. At the recent REMADE Institute® conference in Washington, D.C., industry leaders from various sides of the supply chain discussed the importance of strengthening domestic collection, recycling, and refining infrastructure to ensure these materials remain within secure supply chains. ReElement Africa CEO Ben Kincaid shared his perspective on the role of recycled feedstocks in building resilient supply chains and the importance of developing domestic refining capacity to support commercial and national security applications. The opportunity is significant. Recovering materials from end-of-life electronics, industrial scrap, and recycled magnet materials can help strengthen supply security while supporting a more circular economy. At ReElement, we remain focused on scaling domestic and allied refining capacity for light and heavy rare earths and other essential critical minerals. Rare Earths 101: What differentiates ReElement, and why it matters Across this series, we covered five practical questions: the problem, the sources, the elements we refine, where they go, and why refining on U.S. soil is strategically important. Here is the summary in plain language. ✅ ReElement is building a new model for domestic and allied-nation refining capacity. Our platform is designed to be deployed faster, operate with a smaller footprint than traditional refineries, and produce ultra-high-purity outputs with a reduced environmental impact. What that means for customers and partners: ✅ High-purity capability, matched to end-market needs: We are separating and refining select materials to the purity levels demanding applications require. ✅ A focused answer to the refining chokepoint: More refining capacity in the U.S. and allied nations reduces single points of failure in defense and advanced manufacturing supply chains. ✅ Speed and siting flexibility: The ability to site quickly and co-locate near mining or concentrated assets can reduce logistics complexity and timelines. ✅ Better economics: Smaller footprint and a more efficient approach can translate to reduced capital and operating costs. ✅ Compatibility with U.S. environmental standards: Cleaner, solvent-free processing supports responsible scaling. If you followed along, thank you. If you are just joining, the takeaway is simple: refining is where supply chains become secure, resilient, and scalable, and ReElement is helping move that capability onto U.S. soil and into allied ecosystems. #RareEarths101 #RareEarths #CriticalMinerals #SupplyChain #Manufacturing #Defense #Innovation
