At #NVIDIAGTC, the conversation was all about AI infrastructure, and MinIO, the data foundation for enterprise analytics and AI, was right in the middle of it. 📰 Bloomberg Intelligence: Garima Kapoor Ph.D underscored that AI’s next phase will be defined by how efficiently organizations manage and operationalize their data. https://bit.ly/4uGomBh 📰 VentureBeat: MinIO is mentioned among the storage providers co-designing STX-based infrastructure, positioning it for enterprise AI deployments alongside competitors like Dell and NetApp, with platforms expected in late 2026. https://bit.ly/3PemKPh 📰 CRN: The integration aligns MinIO’s disaggregated storage architecture with NVIDIA's modular STX design for modern AI factory infrastructure deployments. https://bit.ly/4t04asB 📰 Blocks and Files: MinIO was noted for integrating its AIStor platform with STX, running natively on BlueField-4 to place object storage directly in the AI data path and support faster access to context data for RAG and agentic AI workloads. https://bit.ly/4bBDNlP It’s no longer just about storing data—it’s about how it moves, scales, and performs. That’s exactly what we’re building. Congratulations to the team 🎉

AI is transforming how the world's best companies operate, but most enterprises haven't reached full AI potential. Storage is the bottleneck that's suddenly impossible to ignore. AWS S3, Azure Blob, and GCP Cloud Storage were designed to park data cheaply, not move it at GPU speed. They cap out at double-digit petabytes, lock you into their ecosystem, and sit outside the AI data path. MinIO is the high-performance data store for AI and analytics, and it was built for what comes next: ➡️ Exabyte-scale AI on commodity hardware, no proprietary lock-in. ➡️ The only one that can run natively inside the NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPU, which delivers storage in the AI data path, not adjacent to it. ➡️ 40x faster time to first token, validated on stage at NVIDIA GTC. ➡️ The only on-prem software-defined object store with Delta Sharing built in. Live data to Databricks, no pipelines. ➡️ MinIO is profitable, trusted by more than half the Fortune 500, and scaling aggressively to usher data-intensive organizations into the AI era. Cue the momentum. It's why we are the #5 fastest-growing AI company of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, showcased on the Nasdaq Tower this week. We are MinIO.

Vector index creation is an end-to-end infrastructure problem. We tested Milvus with NVIDIA cuVS backed by MinIO AIStor, comparing CPU- and GPU-based indexing and TCP/IP and RDMA networking. Through the integration of NVIDIA cuVS and NVIDIA GPUDirect RDMA for S3-compatible storage on AIStor, we saw: ⚡ Up to 12× faster index creation with GPU-accelerated indexing ⚡ Significant gains when moving from TCP/IP to RDMA networking ⚡ Lower CPU overhead and higher GPU utilization when data moves directly from storage to GPU memory The takeaway: no single component drives performance–it’s how fast the system moves data end-to-end. “The first step for any organization is to bring all the data together under open formats.” Co-CEO and co-founder, Garima Kapoor Ph.D, joined Bloomberg Intelligence with Paul Sweeney and Scarlet Fu to share what's actually required to make AI work in the enterprise. As organizations move from experimentation to production, success is no longer about models alone. It’s about how effectively data can be unified, accessed, and operationalized at scale. That shift is redefining AI infrastructure, away from fragmented, proprietary systems and toward open, high-performance architectures designed for real-world workloads. MinIO is built to power this next phase of AI. Watch the full interview: https://lnkd.in/etyTrDhn

If you are building your first data lakehouse or rethinking an existing architecture, you cannot miss this session at the Data Innovation Summit 2026! Round of applause for Roland Wammers, Field Architect at MinIO and his presentation on the topic of “One Store to Rule Them All: Apache Iceberg V3 and the sovereign Object-Native Lakehouse.” Roland will explore how MinIO AIStor collapses the traditional divide between object storage and analytical data stores by embedding the full Apache Iceberg V3 Catalog REST API natively into the data layer, a first in the industry. He will cover how this eliminates the overhead of managing separate catalog infrastructure, how it integrates out of the box with Spark, Trino, Dremio, Starburst and others, and why it offers a compelling path for enterprises looking to modernize their lakehouse strategy on-premises with full data sovereignty and without hyperscaler lock-in. Book your tickets because this session will give you a clear picture of what truly unified, high-performance analytical storage looks like in practice. 👉 Don’t miss this session - secure your ticket now and join 3,500+ data, analytics, and AI leaders at DIS2026! https://hubs.li/Q047hBHk0 #DISummit2030 #DIS2026x1
